About The Carlyle Hotel

The Carlyle Hotel is one of the most recognizable Art Deco landmarks in Miami Beach. Designed by architects Richard O. Kiehnel and John Elliott and completed in 1939, the hotel embodies the streamlined elegance that defined South Beach architecture during the late 1930s.

Located on Ocean Drive, the Carlyle became internationally famous through its appearance in numerous films and television shows, most notably The Birdcage starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane.
