About
Lex George

Architect. Artist. Preservationist.

Alexander "Lex" George has spent a lifetime observing the built environment and uncovering the stories hidden within it.

As a Florida-licensed architect, Lex has designed and contributed to residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout the United States and Canada. His professional work reflects a deep appreciation for thoughtful design, historical context, and the lasting impact architecture has on the people who experience it.

That same appreciation ultimately led him to a second creative path.

Where Architecture Meets Art

For many years, Lex has been fascinated by the Art Deco buildings of Miami Beach and the unique visual language that defines South Florida's architectural heritage.

What began as photography evolved into a creative process that combines historical research, digital modeling, and artistic interpretation.

Each artwork starts with extensive study of a building's architecture, history, and original design intent. When historical details have been altered or lost, Lex researches archival photographs and documentation to better understand the building's original appearance.

Using this information, he creates detailed three-dimensional digital models that allow him to explore perspective, lighting, composition, and color before developing the final artwork.
