Paradise Resorts Development Proposal

Port Canaveral, Florida

Concept Proposal • Hospitality & Mixed-Use Development
Estimated Value: $300 Million
Completed: May 2013

Envisioned as a landmark destination for Florida's Space Coast, this conceptual development proposed a vibrant mixed-use resort overlooking Port Canaveral. The master plan combined hospitality, entertainment, and public amenities into a destination designed to serve both cruise passengers and year-round visitors.

The proposal included luxury resort hotels, a convention center, structured parking, retail and dining opportunities, and a destination water park—all organized to create a dynamic waterfront experience while supporting the continued growth of Port Canaveral as one of the nation's busiest cruise ports.

Through carefully planned massing studies, site planning, and architectural visualization, the project explored how a large-scale resort development could enhance the waterfront while creating an iconic gateway to Florida's Atlantic coast.

Although the project remained a conceptual proposal, it reflects Lex George's expertise in master planning, hospitality design, and creating visionary developments that balance architecture, tourism, and economic opportunity.
