Designed as a transformative destination for Florida's iconic Cocoa Beach Pier, this conceptual master plan reimagines the surrounding waterfront as a vibrant resort and entertainment district. The proposal combines luxury accommodations, shopping, dining, recreation, and public gathering spaces into a walkable destination that celebrates one of Florida's most recognizable coastal landmarks.
The development envisioned a five-star resort hotel, resort expansion, retail promenade, tropical water park, structured parking, and enhanced public access to the beach and Cocoa Beach Pier. Careful site planning preserved pedestrian connectivity while creating a seamless experience between hospitality, entertainment, and the oceanfront.
Beyond the architecture, the proposal focused on placemaking—creating an immersive destination where visitors could stay, shop, dine, and enjoy recreational amenities within a thoughtfully designed coastal environment.
Although never constructed, the project demonstrates Lex George's expertise in large-scale hospitality planning, mixed-use development, and creating destination experiences that balance commercial success with memorable public spaces.
